From 2013 through 2018 they were known as Seattle Reign FC.
When they moved to Tacoma in 2019 they dropped the Seattle part of the name and were just Reign FC for a time.
OL Reign was the next brand evolution as the club was sold to OL Groupe in 2020.
The club eventually departed Tacoma, returning to Seattle in 2022, keeping the OL Reign moniker until today.
With the pending sale of the club, there was a necessity of losing the OL branding. Seattle Reign FC is now back to the original branding and basic color scheme and logo, with the addition of some gold to the crown logo.
There are a lot of questions for the club as 2024 begins. We do know the answer to one question now.
