Fire Announce 2024 Fixture List

CHICAGO, IL–The 2024 fixture list is out for Major League Soccer and for the Fire’s 27th season. Unlike last season, they will be playing a game in February as they open against Philadelphia Union on Saturday, February 24th at 6:30pm CT. The home opener is the next Saturday at Soldier Field against FC Cincinnati at 7:30pm CT.

The matches against Inter Miami and Lionel Messi will take place just before and just after the Leagues Cup. The away tilt will be in Fort Lauderdale at DRV PNK Stadium on July 20th while return fixture at Soldier Field will be on August 24th in the first home match after Leagues Cup.

As far as Western Conference opponents go, the Fire will be home to Houston Dynamo (April 6th), Real Salt Lake (April 20th), and LA Galaxy (June 1st); and away to St. Louis City SC (May 11th), Seattle Sounders (June 29th), and San Jose Earthquakes (July 7th).

All but three home matches will be on a Saturday while there will be two Sundays on the road. One of those will be Easter Sunday at 5pm CT at Atlanta United in their only appearance on Fox. The other Sunday is against San Jose.

All matches will be on Apple TV as part of the MLS Season Pass with all but three games taking place at 7:30pm local time. The two home exceptions to the 7:30pm kickoff is the March 16th tilt against CF Montreal which kicks off at 1pm and on Decision Day (October 19th) against Nashville SC at 5pm.

Of course, venues may be subject to change for league matches once the Bears schedule is announced sometime in April. Last year though, no league matches were moved from Soldier Field to SeatGeek Stadium. The Fire played all of their US Open Cup and Leagues Cup home games at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview in 2023.

MLS Cup is set for Saturday, December 7th.
