Portland Timbers goalkeeper Aljaz Ivacic on MLS Team of the Week

The man from Slovenia is settling under the arches with such authority by earning another mention in the league’s Week 30 elite of Major League Soccer’s Team of the Week.

I recall being one of his strongest critics early in the season, but the man so far has grown and matured under the arches of the Portland Timbers that in last Saturday’s match against Minnesota united he had not only a clean sheet but five amazing saves.

For now, he has totally silenced his detractors and showing his impressive skills in every match and being very vocal for the Portland Timbers current winning streak of four consecutive games.
