It’s the turn of Portland Timbers midfielder Santiago Moreno to be on MLS Team of the Week for Week 17. The man from Colombia with a brace against the Houston Dynamo on Wednesday night game was enough for the Timbers to raise with a 2-1 win.

With this win, the Portland Timbers solidify their position at home as well for Moreno leading the team for the win with just ten men after Bill Tuiloma’s red card in the second half to preserve the win.

Team of the Week (3-4-3, left to right): Eloy Room (CLB) – Carlos Teran (CHI), Sebastien Ibeagha (LAFC), Sean Nealis (RBNY) – Daniel Pereira (ATX), Federico Navarro (CHI), Emanuel Reynoso (MIN), Santiago Moreno (POR) – Brenner (CIN), Mason Toye (MTL), Carlos Vela (LAFC)

Coach: Wilfried Nancy (MTL)

Bench: Brad Stuver (ATX), Joel Waterman (MTL), Jose Cifuentes (LAFC), Luciano Acosta (CIN), Serge Ngoma (RBNY), Jacen Russell-Rowe (CLB), Heber (NYC)
