COMMERCE CITY, CO–The Colorado Rapids finished top of the Western Conference after knocking off LAFC, 5-2. This result, along with both Seattle drawing Vancouver and Sporting Kansas City losing to Real Salt Lake, gave the Rapids the top seed in the Western Conference, a first-round bye, and a spot in next year’s Concacaf Champions League.

Two goals from Jonathan Lewis, and one each from Collen Warner, Cole Bassett, and Dominque Badji gave the Rapids the win and eliminated LAFC from playoff contention despite goals by Cristian Arango and Brian Rodriguez.
