BRIDGEVIEW, IL–The press releases from the Red Stars stated that they ‘showed grit’, but lost the match, 2-0. They may have also lost Morgan Gautrat and Danielle Colaprico to injury in addition to Alyssa Naeher. We will see as the Red Stars start a stretch of three matches in seven days starting next Sunday at North Carolina (5pm CT, Paramount+), then Wednesday at Racing Louisville that doubles as their Women’s Cup match (6:30pm CT, Paramount+), and then Saturday against either Bayern Munich women or Paris-St. Germain women.
