The Portland Timbers hold their media day on January 22 at Providence Park in Portland, OR. The press conference was opened by a joint appearance by president of soccer, Gavin Wilkinson, and coach Giovanni Savarese. It was then followed by the Argentine midfielders Sebastián Blanco and Diego Valeri. To wrap things up, the most awaited presentation of Yimmi Chara side by side his brother Diego Chara.
