Las Águilas landed in Toronto

Toronto, ON – That’s right, Club América is in Onatrio, Canada  to face the MLS Champions, Toronto FC.

The team from Mexico City comes with all their super stars, except the French, Jeremy Menez, who didn’t travel for an injury, which leaves him out until the playoffs in the Liga MX.

Miguel Herrera and all the Azulcremas, are ready to confront the Reds at BMO Field after a win 2-1 over Cruz Azul at two times World Cup Aztec Stadium, in the capital of the Mexican Republic.

Many fans of CA made the appointment at Toronto-Pearson Airport to meet their favourite players and get in some selfies and autographs giving at the same time their support for the upcoming compromise they have against the Vanney Boys next Tuesday.

Between the players who talked with the Prost Amerika microphone, was Paul Aguilar, Guy of National Team level, The Captain “El Hermoso” Oribe Peralta, Henry Martin, Renato Ibarra, Cecilio Domingues and Edson Alvarez, all those guys with confident attitudes to bring the 3 points back to Mexico and achieve a more relax second leg.

 

Also, the young guys of the Coapa Club come expecting to play and experience to be part of the first team of “El Piojo”, nickname of the former Mexican National team coach.

The last time The Aztec team played in Canadian soil, they faced IMFC with a 4-2 win at the Olympic Stadium under the direction of Gustavo Matosas.
