Mexico city, MX – The MLS Champions lost their first match against the Mexican Giant, Club America, with a final score of 6–3.

Within their Mexican tour of friendly matches, TFC made a stop in Mexico City facing the biggest and most popular team in that country.

The Vanney boys, went up in the score with “The Man of New Jersey “, Jozy Altidore and Sebastian Giovinco. But then Joe Corona and the new acquisition  of America, Henry Martin, who is the current leader “de goleó” in the Liga MX, equalized the scoreboard.

With both teams tied at 3 goals, that is until Alex Bono faced peak rush time, caused by Ibargüen, Darwin Quintero and the young Diego Lainez who made their mark on Bono’s Door.  Players at this point seemed to be feeling and struggling with the Mexico City altitude which is at 2250 meters above sea level.

Important fact to note is that this match was played in three 30 minute periods.

TFC and Club America could be rivals in the Concachampions according to the sunbets promo code  which is set to kickoff February 20 and they are also thinking of a possible exchange, between Darwin Quintero for Jozy Altidore.

The 12 time champion of the Liga MX are asking 5 millions Dollars for the Colombian player, on the other hand, The Man of New Jersey is valued at the same salary he is currently banking with the Canadian team.

Next matches for the team of Greg Vanney are against Pachuca and the Mexican Champion, Tigres.
