Portland needed a win to keep their postseason aspirations alive. It wasn’t pretty, but Portland controls their destiny: win at Vancouver and Portland returns to the playoffs, even with a chance to host a match in the knock-out round. In a game with nine yellow cards, it was Fanendo Adi’s penalty shot that would be the game-winner.
