Kaka comes up big with an extratime PK for the Lions win and three home points. That about sums the highlights for Orlando City on a hot night in Camping World Stadium.

Orlando started the game with a early Cyle Larin goal in the fifth minute. The Lions were controlling position and looked to have the game early. Then the twentieth minute hit things start look a little less smooth. TFC started to show spark but nothing materialized for them in the first half.  OCSC went into half with a one to zero lead (1-0).

Coming out of the break TFC scored early with a Jordan Hamilton goal and it looked as if the lions defense was back to its lackadaisical self. Alost of back and forth play ensued for the next half hour. Endoh looked as if he was giving Kevin Alston some trouble on the right hand side. In the 83rd minute back up keeper Alex Bono had a total mental breakdown when he left the box to go after a loose ball on a play that wasn’t all the way over. Kevin Molino ended up with possession and found Winter’s head for Orlando’s second goal. With a 2-1 lead Orlando’s defense again was unable to close the game out as Justin Morrow scored the equalizer for the reds.

In typical Orlando fashion Kaka was able to score the PK in the 100 minute and the lions got their third win at home to remain undefeated on the home turf. Tonight the lions fielded a full lineup with a USOC game on the horizon v. instate “rivals” FTL Strikers coming to town. Hopefully Orlando can keep up the winning ways with a healthy captian and the roster almost at full strength. But, only time will tell what the craziness of USOC brings.
