Garber’s battle with the MLSPU takes center-stage on Episode 31.

Well, we avoided it for as long as we could. With the hopes that a deal might be struck before we ever had to debate it, the Radio Cascadia team pushed off debating the CBA negotiations for as long as possible. However, even with today’s news that minor parts of the agreement may have been reached, it could be avoided no longer. Episode 31 features a comprehensive look at the issue, and Radio Cascadia offers its conclusions. Long story short? This might get ugly.

On a brighter note, the show begins a series of three segments portraying Cascadian soccer photographers this week. Denise McCooey and Max Aquino join the show to discuss what it’s like to take pictures at CenturyLink Field. They share their  favorite moments taking photos, their process in doing so, and their matchday experience. Tune in on Episode 32 to hear the next installment of this series, featuring an expert on snapping shots in Providence Park.

Matt Hoffman and Aaron Campbell provide updates on training camps in Vancouver and Portland. Each offers a perspective on the upcoming Simple Invitational, starting February 22nd.
