Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Vitor Gomes Pereira Junior “Juninho”. The former LA Galaxy midfielder arrived in Tijuana, had his medical and fitness exames done and begun practice for the upcoming 2016 Clausura season of LIGA MX.
“I want to grow as a player,” said Juninho in an interview with the club’s YouTube channel XOLOTV. “Club Tijuana gave me the opportunity to be here. Miguel Herrera was waiting for me when I arrived, we spoke a little about the team and his expectations.”
The South American midfielder is the second former LA Galaxy player to join Club Tijuana. In 2013 the ‘Xolos’ signed Galaxy youth player Paul Arriola.
