The Portland Timbers promoting Ned Gravaboy as their new General Manager

Finally, the Portland Timbers are to announce with a press conference scheduled for Thursday morning at 10:00 am (PST) to name Ned Grabavoy as their new General Manager.

Grabavoy, 39 was a player for 13 seasons in Major League Soccer with seven teams including the Timbers ending his career here with the Rose City team. Joining the Timbers front office late in 2017, he served as the number 2 in operations department until Gavin Wilkinson firing in this past October 2022.

Since the departure of Gavin Wilkinson, he became the interim Chief Soccer Officer and credit him with one of his most bold moves the record deal signing of Brazilian midfielder Evander in December. Grabavoy is looking forward to creating more deals as well building up a contender for the 2023 season.
