Photo Gallery: Vancouver Whitecaps 2-1 Colorado Rapids

VANCOUVER, BC–The Whitecaps enter Thursday in the seventh and final playoff spot in the Western Conference after defeating Colorado Rapids, 2-1, at BC Place. Ryan Gauld scored twice off Rapids turnovers–one as a result of being too casual playing out of the back in the 14th minute and one by giving a ball away in midfield in the 40th minute. Gyasi Zardes pulled one back in the 76th minute and nearly got the equalizer in stoppage time, but headed off the post. The Rapids are two points out of a playoff spot, but now have four teams to pass to get to seventh.
