CHICAGO, IL–Both the Fire and Red Stars featured at Soldier Field on Saturday. This reporter has the story about the Fire’s 0-0 draw with Atlanta United in the first game. Rusty Silber has the story of the Red Stars’ first ever match in Chicago City Limits ending in a 1-0 defeat to San Diego Wave. The match was also the farewell for midfielder Alyssa Mautz after ten seasons with the Red Stars.
