FOXBOROUGH, MA–New England continued their march towards the Supporters’ Shield while Chicago Fire FC were officially eliminated from the playoffs for the tenth time in 12 seasons in the 2-2 draw at Gillette Stadium. Twice, the Revolution took the lead, first from Wilfrid Kaptoum and then Gustavo Bou. But twice the Fire would equalize, first from Alvaro Medran (two minutes after Kaptoum) and Ignacio Aliseda (two minutes from time).
