DALLAS, TX,–Mexico made short work of Guatemala at the Cotton Bowl on Wednesday night with a 3-0 win. Rogelio Fuenes Mori scored a brace in the match and Oberlin Pineda added a third in the late night encounter. The loss eliminates Guatemala from quarterfinal contention as El Salvador defeated Trinidad and Tobago earlier on Wednesday night at Toyota Stadium.
El Salvador and Mexico will play for the top of the group on Sunday night at the Cotton Bowl. T&T and Guatemala will play at Toyota Stadium at the same time with the former having faint hopes of making the quarterfinals.
