Armas Gets the Sack in Toronto

Toronto, ON – After a humiliating 7-1 loss against DC United (The largest margin of defeat in Toronto FC history), Chris Armas is the fist coach fired in the MLS season.

On this 4th of July 2021 at 13:48 EDT, the Toronto Football Club sent a news release to all media outlets to inform us that:

Chris Armas has been relieved of his duties as Head Coach, effective immediately.

Armas went at the heart of TFC and removed all the solid base built by his predecessor, Greg Vanney, such as how Jozy Altidore has been exiled from the team and the inclusion of new “leaders”.

Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms are already collapsed with the millions of comments against the Ali Curtis administration, including the sale of Victor Vázquez and Sebastian Giovinco a few years back.

At this time, Michael Bradley took the control of the team more by compromise than for love of the sport, once the skeleton of the team was destroyed from top to the bottom.

The passion from the TFC fans goes much further than the mentality of this new era without Vanney.

Maybe the cancer goes far beyond than Armas, within the walls of this institution are happening a series of movements that leaves us with much to talk about.
