With starter Jeff Attinella out with an injury for the season and Steve Clark on the DL, the Portland Timbers under Extreme Hardship signed goalkeeper Logan Ketterer on loan from USL Championship side El Paso Locomotive FC.

Logan Ketterer 27, a native of Madison, Wisconsin, played three seasons for El Paso Locomotive FC (2019-21), notching 22 shutouts in 55 appearances (55 starts) across all competitions.

In 2019 Ketterer had a foremost season with the Locomotive, playing in 32 games and logged 12 shutouts, helping El Paso qualify for the playoffs in its inaugural season. In the 2020 campaign, Ketterer posted nine shutouts in 16 appearances.

Originally drafted by the Columbus Crew in the fourth round (71st overall) in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft, Ketterer made one appearance in two seasons in Columbus (2017-2018), starting and playing 120 minutes in the fourth round of the 2018 Lamar Hunts U.S. Open Cup against the Chicago Fire on June 6, 2018.

The arrival of Logan Ketterer will give the Portland Timbers some depth in this department and for sure he will see some playing time and who knows he can deliver some notable performances.
