In the battle of the unbeatens the Seattle Sounders stand tall. On Saturday the Sounders upended The Reds 3-2 to remain perfect during their 2019 campaign.
Things didn’t exactly start rosy for the Sounders as Jozy Altidore put Toronto ahead 1-0 with his goal in the 11th minute. But a Wil Bruin (24′ and 66′) brace and a moonbeam of a shot from Cristian Roldan (68′) proved to be the difference midway through the match. Altidore bagged a second in the 70th minute but TFC could not get a third.
