Toronto FC 3-Real Salt Lake 1

Slow start? What slow start? On Friday night in front of a packed house at BMO Field Toronto FC answered their critics who claimed that their club was taking things easy early in their 2018 Major League Soccer campaign. The club responded with a 3-1 to give them their first league win and a bit of momentum heading into Champions League week.

Toronto’s goals were scored by Jozy Altidore (23′ and 45′) and Tosaint Ricketts (90′). Real Salt Lake’s lone goal would come courtesy of Corey Baird in the 92nd minute.
