FC Dallas 1-Real Salt Lake 1

It took two and  half matches but finally on Saturday night a little bit of luck came FC Dallas’ way. After a difficult week which saw Dallas bumped out of the CONCACAF Champions League, Dallas got one back. Despite giving up an early goal to Real Salt Lake in their home opener at Toyota Stadium, an own goal would give The Hoops a 1-1 draw in front 16,116 supporters.

RSL forward Joao Plata put The Claret and Cobalt up by one with his goal in the 25th minute. But Dallas would fight back in the second half with several goal-scoring opportunities. But in the end a own goal by RSL center-back would give the home side the equalizer.

On hand to cover the match was Prost Amerika photographer Ziro Castellanos. Please enjoy some of his photos from the match and make sure to check out all of his photos on SmugMug.
