D.C. United’s 2018 road trip begins in Orlando

Week one of the 2018 MLS season is right around the corner and on Saturday, March 3 the team from D.C will visit  Orlando City (7:30pm EST,  and try to prove that they are doing way better than they did last season.

In their last encounter, Orlando City beat D.C. United 2-0, and finished the season in 10th place, one above the Black-and-Red team, This season will be different for both teams, Orlando will not have Kaka since the Brazilian player decided to retire last October. D.C. United will also not have its star goalie, Bill Hamid who left the team last season for the Danish club Midtjylland.

Possible Starting Line-Up D.C.United
GK: David Ousted — Nick DeLeon, Steve Birnbaum, Frederic Brillant, Oniel Fisher — Junior Moreno, Ulises Segura — Paul Arriola, Zoltan Stieber, Yamil Asad — Darren Mattocks.

Luciano Acosta will be out this week serving a suspension for the red card on his last game on the R.F.K Stadium. Russell Canouse and Taylor Kemp are out with a knee sprain and a sports hernia surgery respectively; Darren Mattocks (Calf)

Possible Starting Line -Up Orlando City
GK: Joe Bendik — Scott Sutter, Jonathan Spector, Ludovic Sane, Mohamed El-Munir — Christian Higuita, Will Johnson, Yoshi Yotun — Justin Meram — Jose Villarreal, Stefano Pinho.

Sacha Kljestan will be out through March 10th due to a red card suspension. Uri Rosell, Dillon Powers, Josue Colman,  Dom Dwyer are all out for medical issues.
