Toronto, ON – The team of Jesse Marsch begins the encounter looking to score on the Alex Bono door, but even the goal by Bradley Wright-Phillips at 53′ wasn’t enough to expulse TFC out of the combat at BMO Field this rainy afternoon.

The Canadian team is the 1st finalist of the Eastern Conference and with have to perform without Sebastian Giovinco and “The Man of New Jersey”, Jozy Altidore.

The figure of Italy accumulated a 2nd yellow card, sanctioned by referee Chris Penso, and he’s not going to be in the next match against the other finalist, Columbus Crew.

In an unclear situation with Sasha Kljestan, Altidore got a red card in the tunnel before marching to the field for the second part of the match.

For most, this situation although shocking, but was somewhat unsurprising due to the friction between those two players started on the field in the 1st half.

For his part, the strategist, Greg Vanney affirmed that he did not quite see exactly what happened but he confirms, there is videos to clarify those facts.

The “hero” for the Reds was Alex Bono, one more time, the gardian from Baldwinsville NY, saves his team with a magnificent save and overall performance.

TFC was against the wall defending their score and unproductive on the front except two stolen opportunities.  First a goal from Osorio, disallowed for an offside.  An the another one from “the International” Victor Vazquez, denied for supposedly not waiting for the whistle for the free kick.
