Toronto, ON- What’s better than defeating your bitter rival in your home season finale? Why, having a trophy celebration of course. On Saturday night Toronto FC gave their supporters an extra reason to celebrate with a 1-0 win over the Montreal Impact to close their home regular season campaign.

Jozy Altidore scored his fourteenth goal of the season(16′) to give TFC their lone goal of the match and the three points. With the win Toronto tied the 1998 Los Angeles Galaxy for most points in an MLS season with 68. They will look to eclipse that record on Sunday when they travel to Atlanta to take on United FC (4PM EST).

You can check out Luis Martinez’s recap of the match here. In the meantime please check out our photos from the match courtesy of Prost Amerika photographer David Chant (You can give him your thoughts on Instagram) and Michael Fayehun (you can follow him on Instagram here) .
