20170327 PDX SEA 2

Rachel Corsie played the full 90 effortlessly taking possession of the ball while moving attacks forward. The center-back was also a threat to the Houston defense, getting into the offensive mix several times. Rachel is a Scottish International with over 80 caps for her home country. She joined the Reign last season and has become a staple on the back-line.

A Prost to Rachel Corsie!

*The Prost Eisen Frauen (Iron Women) award is given by Prost Amerika to an outstanding player each week. Not just for a spectacular goal or incredible save, it’s in recognition of a game’s worth of work. The athlete chosen is one that impacts the match through their dedication to winning every play. Each week five athletes (one from each of the games played) will be up for nomination.

The award is voted on by the writers, photographers and contributors of Prost Amerika who cover the NWSL, as well as the Supporter Groups of the teams.
