Jeremy St Louis is an anchor and presenter on the Fox Soccer Report show on FSC. He is best known as being the Editor and host of MLS Pulse, a segment of the show devoted to MLS matters. When not acting as editor of that site, he appears in televised soccer’s most famous double act with Bobby McMahon, where he takes the role of host to inspire analysis from Bobby.
“He’s forgotten more about soccer, than most of us have ever known,” Jeremy says admiringly of his co-star.
Born in Winnipeg, Canada, Jeremy spent his formative years in Winnipeg but relocated to Red Deer, Alberta where he received his first introduction to ‘the beautiful game’ in which he was not so beautiful.
“I was a midfielder – I think – and was just told to lump the ball upfield as much as possible. I wasn’t to play with it or try anything fancy – just get it up the park. I guess I was supposed to be a defensive-minded midfielder.”
Always eager to interact with the viewers, Jeremy loves traveling and meeting avid viewers of the show. Jeremy was also one of two Canadian broadcasters granted a 1-on-1 interview with David Beckham when he visited Toronto in 2007. In 2008, Jeremy traveled to Barcelona to interview Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry and Frank Rijkaard.
In this exclusive two part interview with Prost Amerika, no global soccer stone is left alone, as Jeremy talks openly about this MLS season, Sounders FC’s inaugural year, the pros and cons of parity in MLS, the state of Canadian football, and the EPL. He also makes his predictions for the coming year including World Cup Winners and where the MLS trophy might end up.
