Sounds like a natural for NBC Sports. Never mind who’s responsibility it is, it’s a matter of promoting a product that they show. They can syndicate it, and tease upcoming matches that they will be showing.

The league provides a review show that they stream on their website after almost every weekend. A slight improvement in production quality and structure and I think it wouldn’t be hard to find someone to broadcast that version on TV and it would be much easier to DVR rather than stream it online, and would increase exposure

I have a co-worker who will talk EPL because of Premier League Review, but knows nothing about MLS. This is a problem, but with all of the new tv contracts, it shouldn’t be that hard to rectify.

Really people? How many goals has Fucito scored in his Sounders’ career? And Neagle was all sound and fury, but the impartial eye could see that something was lacking apart from the effort.

Don’t get me wrong – I love both Fucito and Neagle, not because I thought that they were the best players, but because I thought they got what it meant to be a Sounder. That’s why this move is so polarizing… they brought it to each match and left everything on the pitch, but that isn’t good enough.

To disparage EJ because he didn’t get traction in Europe is to disparage Landon because he didn’t get traction in Europe. Buddle was just putzing about in the second division, as are many of the current season’s more lauded players.

Put yer emotions aside and listen to reason. Seattle have made some good trades this season, and that includes the one for EJ.

…”atop the Cascadia heap”…sure, it could happen what with Sounders FC not getting a home match against the Timbers. and they should have fresher legs without being saddled with CCL games. Come to think of it it would be somewhat embarrassing if they didn’t show well in the Cascadia cup.
