In 2008, Prost Amerika brought you match reports of all Seattle Sounders home games and one from Portland. We are proud to tell you that we were voted Match Report of the Year by the members of the Emerald City Supporters club, beating out the Seattle Times, the P-I and the Seattle Sounders themselves. In 2009, Sounders arrival in MLS meant a whole new slew of journalistic competitors. Therefore, we are happier than ever to have repeated our achievement and won the Award again in 2009 with over 80% of the vote.
We produced informative and detailed match reports that were read by both the hardcore fans of the game and those just arriving to it. Because of our work, we were asked to contribute to the MLS Cup Final program too.
This season, we aim to improve the quality of our reports even more by the use of technology and hope to win the coveted ECS Award a third year running. To see our Award-Winning match reports for 2009, please visit the Match Reports 2009 Page.
