Fados Irish Pub

Fados Pub

801 1st Ave
Downtown Seattle

This traditional Irish-style pub is excellently situated for QWest games being a fifteen minute walk away from the home of the Sounders. Owner Gerry Leonard is well versed in the sport, having seen his first ever soccer game in the football capital of Glasgow in 1971.

The bar is neatly divided into four rooms which gives them the ability to show a variety of games at once. Already a favorite with Seattle's existing soccer loving crowd, Fados will open at practically any time to show you an event live. Fados is family friendly and children are welcome for all match broadcasts.

The arrival on MLS in Seattle could have been scripted for Fados. With a great selection of beers, solid wooden fixtures and fittings that give that authentic Irish pub experience and a staff already well experienced in catering to soccer fans, Fados is a superb place to grab that pre and post match beer on game day.

Spitfire

2219 4th Avenue
Belltown

Co-owner Jerry Everard aimed to have a lounge "where art was as important as the TVs and food was as important as the sports," when he took this over and he has succeeded. With a Cuban themed menu and flat screens everywhere, Spitfire is a haven for those who like the finer things in life while watching the finest sport in life. Former BluWater Bistro chef James Earl has developed a Latin-influenced menu that's "not ethnic by any means," - heavy on flavor and spices but lighter on the fried stuff. The weekend brunch would go well with your viewing and as a venue for those big international games, the atmosphere can rock.

Spitfire is set up to be the perfect place to catch a Sounders FC road match before heading out for a night on the town. Upscale without being intimidating, its everything you would imagine a Belltown sports bar to be plus a late night happy hour to bring the night full circle.

Fuel

164 S. Washington Street
Pioneer Square

Fuel has been the pre-game bar of choice of Sounders fans for a while now. And why not? The Emerald City Supporters Club regularly meet there before the games and it may be the optimum place to hear and practice those new Sounders songs before their debut at the game. Conveniently located in the shadow of Qwest Field, it offers happy hour treats and a variety of television screens to view the sporting action from around the world, including 10 42" HD plasmas and a giant HD projector! Best of all, they offer a $1.99 Happy Hour Appetizer Menu during the working week from 3pm - 7pm.

They also have a very interesting margaritas, mixers, shooters and martinis list for the more discerning pre and post match palette. A great way to hang out while the traffic thins out post game. You'll find Fuel facing directly onto the official QWest car park and with its large stone walls and authentic atmosphere, it feels like a sports pub for sports fans.
