According to The Oregonian’s Jaime Goldberg T2, the United Soccer League affiliate of the Portland Timbers, have reportedly signed 20-year old forward Darixon Vuelto.

Vuelto will join T2 from Honduran side Real España, where he scored 10 goals in 28 appearances. The forward has represented Honduras at multiple youth national team levels.

The addition of Vuelto will bolster T2’s attack, seeing him compete for minutes with first team players Jeremy Ebobisse, Foster Langsdorf, and Victor Arboleda. All of whom are likely to see loans from the first team to T2.  The signing continues an influx of young, promising players. Vuelto joins six Timbers’ signings 24-years-old or younger.

Previous rumors had linked the Honduran forward to Major League Soccer sides Houston Dynamo and FC Dallas.
