The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) have released their full fixture list for their seventh season as well as who will be the Game of the Week on Lifetime. Red Stars fans will get no fewer than eight chances to see their team on Lifetime this season.

First for the Red Stars, it was announced that they would start at Houston and against former Red Stars Christen Press on Sunday, March 25th, at 4pm at BBVA Compass Stadium. Their home opener is six days later against the Portland Thorns after the Fire take on the Portland Timbers in a doubleheader at Toyota Park.

April 14th marks the Red Stars’ first visit to Utah to take on the Royals at Rio Tinto Stadium. It is also the first of eight matches for the Red Stars that will be on Lifetime with pre-game starting at 2:30pm and kickoff at 2:50pm.

With the addition of the Utah Royals and the demise of both FC Kansas City and the Boston Breakers, it is a 24-game fixture list with each team playing the others three times. In the case of the Red Stars, they will host Portland, Houston, Sky Blue FC, and Orlando twice while they will visit Washington, Utah, Seattle, and North Carolina twice.

March 25th is the earliest that the Red Stars have begun a season. They will have eight Saturday home games, two on Wednesday, and one each on Friday and Sunday. The distribution is similar on the road with the exception of there being two Sunday road games and none on Friday.

Once again, the Red Stars will end the regular season on multiple road matches. Last year, there were three road matches to end the season (four if you count the semifinal against North Carolina). This season, the Red Stars will conclude the regular season with four away matches. Below is the full-fixture list for the Red Stars in 2018 with matches on Lifetime marked with an asterisk (*):
