On Friday Major League Soccer held their annual SuperDraft. While the SuperDraft is very often a time for young players to see the fruits of their labor and get some pretty cool scarves it is also a chance for teams to build their squads ahead of the upcoming campaign. This year’s draft was no different with clubs like LAFC filling their roster spots with some of the best college talent (Joao Moutinho and Tristan Blackmon) while other clubs used it as a chance to deal current players and build up assets (such as with the Philadelphia Union’s acquisition of David Accam from the Chicago Fire).
