After four years of absence, the Houston Dynamo is ready to face Sporting Kansas City. Thursday Houston will hot Sporting KC in the first round of the MLS Playoffs.

Houston finished fourth in the West Conference and secured the home match after beating Chicago Fire 3-0 in the last match of the regular season. This will mark the fifth time these two teams have face each other in the postseason. Houston leads the series with 3 wins and 1 loss against the Midwest team. Also, this is the fourth time the Orange will face SKC during the 2017 season. So far, the Dynamo have pulled together a 1-1-1 record, making this, an attractive match to follow.

The Dynamo has been one of the best teams playing at home this year. Therefore, getting the victory – to secure a home match – against the Fire last Sunday was crucial for Wilmer Cabrera’s team. Although Houston has lost one of their best players in defense in A.J, De La Garza, who is out of the year with after sustaining a  torn ACL injury on Sunday, the team is ready to face a familiar squad with only one thing in mind which is keep fighting and being strong for the city they represent.
