Bridgeview, IL- David Villa, Diego Valeri, Nemanja Nikolic? On Sunday night at Toyota Park the Hungarian international staked his claim for MLS MVP honors with a hat trick to help the Chicago Fire earn a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Union.

Nikolic’s goals came in the 3′, 64′, and 78′ minutes. An own goal from Johan Kappelhoff and a Alejandro Bedoya strike in the 6′ and and 13′ minutes respectively would give Philadelphia an early advantage. But the Fire would come back late in the second half to improve their record to 16-10-7 with 55 points on the season.
