Commerce City, CO-If FC Dallas end up making the 2017 MLS Cup Playoffs they will have Atiba Harris to thank. Down a goal in a must-win match in Colorado the Saint Kitts and Nevis international came through for The Hoops earning the equalizer in a tough 1-1 draw with the Colorado Rapids.

Colorado’s goal came courtesy of center midfielder Stefan Aigner in the 15th minute. The Rapids held firm throughout most of the match but conceded in the 54th minute against their Western Conference foes. The draw did however keep them a point up (8-18-6, 30 points) on the Los Angeles Galaxy for the vaunted wooden spoon award. FC Dallas meanwhile moved back into sixth place in the Western Conference standings (10-9-13, 33 points). Their road trip will continue next Saturday when they take on the Seattle Sounders (7:30 PM EST).
