Chester, PA- If a team is going to wait nine games into the season to get victory number one it might as well be against a rival. While Philadelphia Union (1-4-4, 7 points) supporters might have like to have a few more points this season that their first win on the season came against the New York Red Bulls (5-5-1, 16 points) should mollify some of the bitter feelings at PPL Park. Thanks to three goals from C.J. Sapong the Union downed their Mid-Atlantic rivals with a 3-0 pasting on Saturday.
