Toronto, ON- The tifo that the Toronto FC supporters unfurled on Friday night read, “With heartbreak comes a new beginning, a new opportunity.” Although that expression was meant for the club’s difficult loss to the Seattle Sounders in the MLS Cup Final last season it also definitely applied to their home opener against Sporting Kansas City on Friday night. Despite losing goalkeeper Clint Irwin early The Reds fought back and earned a 0-0 draw in front of 27,909 supporters at BMO Field.
