On a Sunday afternoon in Commerce City, Colorado persistence paid off for the Colorado Rapids. Thanks to an early goal from Shkelzen Gashi and two big saves from Tim Howard the Rapids came back from their one goal deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Galaxy 3-1 in penalties.
