Bridgeview, IL- There will be no second consecutive MLS Cup Final appearance for Columbus Crew SC. On Thursday, the defending MLS Eastern Conference playoff champions were eliminated from the 2016 MLS Cup playoff hunt by the Chicago Fire. Thanks to an own goal by Michael Parkhurst and a late goal from Michael de Leeuw the Fire drew with Crew SC 2-2 in front of 15,883 supporters at Toyota Park.
