Match in pictures: Vancouver Whitecaps versus Seattle Sounders FC

Vancouver, BC- On Sunday in front of a sellout crowd at BC Place the Seattle Sounders continued their late-season run to the MLS Cup playoffs with a 2-1 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps. The Whitecaps got the early lead thanks to a penalty kick goal from Pedro Morales. But the Sounders stormed back with an Osvaldo Alonso (39′) goal and pk of their own from Brad Evans (81′).

In addition to moving into fifth in the MLS Western Conference Standings the Sounders (13-13-5, 44 points) victory also spelled the end to the Whitecaps (9-15-8, 35 points) chances to making the playoffs.
