Kealia Ohai is top scorer in the NWSL and each match shows just how dangerous she can be on both ends of the field. The second overall draft pick in the 2014 NWSL College Draft, Ohai has been a major part of the Dash offense, scoring nine goals already this season.
Kealia Ohai grew up in Utah and went to the University of North Carolina where she was a member of the 2012 championship winning team. She also led the US Women’s U-20 team to victory during the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, scoring the winning goal in the final. Legally blind in her right eye she stands as an example of how to overcome obstacles and excel.

*The Prost Eisen Frauen (Iron Women) award is given by Prost Amerika to “the toughest women on the field” each week. Not just for a spectacular goal or incredible save, it’s in recognition of a game’s worth of work. The athlete chosen is one that impacts the match through their dedication to winning every play. Each week five athletes (one from each of the games played) will be up for nomination.
The award is voted on by the writers/photographers of Prost Amerika who cover the NWSL, as well as the Supporter Groups of the teams.
