After much talk about the Ivoirian player, finally Didier Drogba shows up with a hat trick against Philadelphia Union and helping in the overall 5-1 win.

The maximum acquisition for IMFC, Didier Drogba becomes quite the hero of the night in Quebec.  When the match starts, both teams did not have too many goal opportunities, but then at minute 19′, Drogba scores for the first time which then led to absolute ball possession to his team from that point on.

Just before break time, Nacho Piatti tries to score, but the rebound of his attempt leaves Drogba alone to score for his team for the second time that night.

In the second half, Drogba is still on fire and gains a hat trick at minute 52′, completely paralyzing all efforts of the opponent, which were able to put only one goal in this match by Chris Pontius for the American team.

Also, the ex San Lorenzo, Nacho Piatti, got his opportunity to score at the 87th minute and in the very last minutes, the most recent acquisition for IMFC, Matteo Mancosu scores for the final 5-1 for Mauro Biello’s club.
