Prost Amerika video columnist Alan Hinton reviewed the 2016 Copa America Centenario. He shared his thoughts on the USMNT’s performance, departures of several high-profile teams and who would win the competition.

“He (USMNT head coach Jurgen Klinsmann) seems to have got it right. He’s got his best team playing their best formation, and they’re playing American power soccer.”
With the USMNT winning Group A and moving on to the knockout stage, Hinton praised head coach Jurgen Klinsmann for adopting a soccer style suited to his team. He went on to highlight the play of forward Clint Dempsey and goalkeeper Brad Guzan.
Copa America departures and winner prediction
Hinton was surprised Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Costa Rica all failed to make out of the group stage. He went on to predict Argentina as the winner of the 2016 Copa America Centenario.
