Starting XI

Whitecaps-FC Dallas-5500

David Ousted 7.0
He had a game high 7 saves but let it 3 goals. That being said like Carl Robinson said after the game, if it wasn’t for Outed the score could’ve been 7-7. A game to put behind him but three big wins in a week isn’t too shabby.

Fraser Aird 6.0
Two yellow cards in 13 mins meant a sending off in the 76` min for Aird. Before the two yellow cards he was having a decent game but sloppy play really put this teammate with their backs against the wall. Look for maybe an extra game suspension for his brutal tackle that got him the second yellow card.

Tim Parker 6.5
Wasn’t a good game for Parker, after a great April he has struggled too keep form so far in May. He always seems to struggle a bit when he partners with Kah.

Whitecaps-RSL-2

Pa-Modou Kah 7.0
Filling in for a suspended Kendall Waston and he play an okay game. He usually has that one moment that leaves you cringing but playing against Giovinco you can’t blame him for his marking on the goals.

Jordan Harvey 7.0
After struggling on Wednesday against Chicago he came back today with a decent outing. With his experience in the MLS you expect this kind of effort game in and game out.

Matias Laba 7.0
Played a very strong game but could have been better shutting down the area between himself and the Whitecaps defenders. Had some great tackles but was caught cheating up the field a few too many times for my liking.

Russell Teibert 8.0
A great game for Teibert in Toronto tonight. Was all over the pitch and demanded the ball from his teammates when he was in an open part of the pitch. Was a work horse all game long for his coach.

Christian Bolanos 6.0
Very good nose for the net on his 4th goal in five games. But other then that had two sloppy passes that lead to TFC goals. Struggled defensively against the attacks down his side of the pitch.

Pedro Morales-0531

Pedro Morales 8.5
Was moved back into the central attacking role for this game and played very nicely. Had a goal and an assist for his team. He was very good on the ball and put in a great shift for his team today.

Kekuta Manneh 8.5
Mannehs best game since his brace last season against Seattle Sounders. Had two huge goals and added an assist on the Morales game winner. Made Beitashour look really bad on his 2nd goal of the game.

Erik Hurtado 7.5
Probably Hurtados best game of his MLS career. Was a force in the first 20 minutes and was a part of both the Manneh and Bolanos goals. Was a surprise starter and made the best out of his opportunity.

Subs

Jordan Smith 7.0
Had to come on when Aird was sent off for his 2nd yellow card, didn’t do a bad job at all covering. With Aird facing minimum one game suspension and maybe an additional game after MLS looks at it he will have a chance playing a few games in future.

Whitecaps-Chicago Fire-0434

Blas Perez 6.5
Came on in the 85` min and helped the team hold on for the win.

Andrew Jacobson 6.5
89` min sub for Morales to help the Whitecaps escape Toronto FC with the win.
