April 30, 2016, in Montréal – This afternoon, in what seemed like a victory for IMFC, converted into an emotional match, where the visiting team achieved a recovery of 2-2 through the play by Bobby Burling at the 73rd minute.

Mauro Biello’s team showed it’s presence in scoring their first goal at the 9th minute when Didier Drogba, without mercy, gets a free kick through the visiting team’s net, who fought at all time to obtain their 3 points outside of their home turf.

Afterwards, with an emotional rhythm of back and forth, Maxim Tissot scored the 2-1 goal, which for a moment seemed to be the final score of the match, however it wasn’t so.

It is important to mention that it was clear during the entire match the return of the activity of Didier Drogba, who opened the scoring, demonstrated that he was back in full form in this great match celebrated in Sherbrook Street.

On the other hand, the other Montreal icon manifested his thoughts that the club was not playing as they have been in the last three matches.

The two clubs decidedly wanted the tiebreaker, but in the end, a draw was the fate of the match.  Notwithstanding, the IFMC maintains their position as first in the Eastern Conference.  Stay tuned for the next matchup on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 7h30 PM ET, between IMFC and Columbus Crew SC.
