Starting XI

David Ousted 10.0
Made four huge quality saves to continue to being the best keeper in the MLS this season. Huge save off Barrios that should be MLS save of the week.

Canadian National team team mates Aird and Akindele come together.

Fraser Aird 6.5
Was probably the less effective player on the pitch for the Whitecaps but still had a decent game. Was beat down the wings more times then I would like to see but was able to help keep the clean sheet.

Waston and Harris battle in mid air.

Kendall Waston 9.5
Combined for 27 clearances with Parker. Was all over the balls into the air and played physical. Wasn’t scared to make contact and throw his weight around.

Tim Parker 8.0
Had a really good defensive game partnering with Waston. Would probably like to have another chance on his great chance to score.

Jordan Harvey Goal Machine.

Jordan Harvey 7.5
Jordan Harvey Goal Machine was in full effect. A great goal where he took his time, composed himself and was able to bury the ball. Lets hope he can continue this great play.

Andrew Jacobson 7.0
Had some great defensive plays this game but his play was a little up and down. Needs to play a more consistent full 90 minutes moving forward.

Matias Laba 9.0
A great game by Laba, was all over the pitch making tackles, congesting the midfield and back tracking and running down FC Dallas players all game long. This is the Matias Laba we saw last season.

Cristian Techera 7.5
A very good game for Techera. He was his typical pain in the ass self to the FC Dallas defenders. Was able to draw some penalties and good quality free kicks.

Mezquida filled in nicely for the injured Morales.

Nicolas Mezquida 7.5
Filled in nicely for the injured Pedro Morales. Was able to command the middle of the pitch and got great passes down the wings to Kekuta Manneh and Techera.

Kekuta Manneh 7.5
Great battle all game long against ex-Whitecap Atiba Harris. Was lucky his cross turned into a FC Dallas own goal but sometimes in great to be lucky. It paid off for when he scored the 3-0 goal from a great Blas Perez pass in the 77th minute.

Octavio Rivero 7.0
Another game where he did everything correct but failed to find a goal or even get a decent chance on net. Needs to make an impact in the games coming up to keep starting in my opinion.

Subs

Blas Perez just misses a chance to get his first Whitecaps goal.

Blas Perez 8.5
Came on and make an immediate impact by setting up the Manneh goal to out the game away. He then took a yellow card for a hard foul and a few minutes later almost scored a goal. That is why Carl Robinson brought him into this team.

Christian Bolanos 6.5
Never really got involved in this game. Other than him almost setting up the Perez goal he was not around the ball.

Russell Teibert 6.5
Came on late in the game and helped maintain the clean sheet.
