Starting XI

David Ousted 7.5
-Never had to make that huge save but did enough for the Whitecaps to earn the victory.

Fraser Aird 7.0
-Another solid out going for the young Canadian to go along with the 2nd half or the Impact game to open the season.

Kendall Waston 8.5
-Finally a game where he stepped up his physical play and didn’t hesitate to use his size.

Tim Parker 7.0
-Another good outing for Parker, has probably been the best defender to start this season for this team.

Jordan Harvey 7.0
-Always does just enough not to be a liability for his team.

Matias Laba 7.0
-Still not up to par with his abilities last season but easily his best game of the season.

The makeup of the game changed entirely in the 9th minute. Bolaños once again slipped behind Seattle's back line. Joevin Jones, caught on the wrong side of the Costa Rican, looked to have clipped the attacker's heel. Replays showed the call to be questionable, but Pedro Morales calmly buried the PK to put Vancouver up 1-0.

Pedro Morales 8.0
-Settled very nicely in the back attacking midfield position on the pitch. He is money from the penalty spot time and time again.

Christian Bolanos 7.0
-After missing last game due to suspension, had a very good outgoing. Had a great effort to get the penalty call to give the Whitecaps the early lead.

Kekuta Manneh 6.0
-Was invisible all game long, needs to step up and make a difference for this team.

Blas Perez 9.0
-Did everything right to make a positive impact on this game for his team. That is why he was brought in for this team.

Octavio Rivero 6.0
-Plan and simple he needs to find the back of the net, can’t settle for he does everything right but score.

Subs

Andrew Jacobson (min’78) 7.0
-Very nice first run for the new player. Has the ability to be a solid player for this team.

Cristian Techera (min’83) 6.5
-Needs to step up his fitness and play and the levels he showed last season.

Masato Kudo (min’84) 6.5
-Hopefully his non soccer related injury is fully healed and he can get some decent minutes for this team.
