Commissioner Don Garber Issues Fines for Public Criticism of the Officials
NEW YORK (September 4, 2015) – Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber today fined LA Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena, Portland Timbers head coach Caleb Porter, and Sporting Kansas City head coach Peter Vermes each an undisclosed amount for public criticism of the officials.
In addition, Commissioner Garber has fined Portland Timbers owner Merritt Paulson an undisclosed amount for public criticism of the officials.
